Someone sent me this video this morning, so I thought I’d share it with you guys
It’s the dull time of the year… No football news whatsoever. Basketball free agency hasn’t really started rolling. Baseball is about to take their All Star break. Hockey is… well, nobody watches hockey anyway. So as odd as it may seem, ESPN was probably pretty excited that LeBron James wanted an hour long TV special tonight to announce where he will be playing for the next several seasons. (I’m not exactly sure how it takes an hour to announce the name of an NBA team, but I guess we’ll all find out tonight). So picture this… it’s 5 minutes before the LeBron special starts. ESPN is gearing up for it, glad to have something that will draw in ratings at such a dull time of the sports year, and all of a sudden, they get a phone call. On the other end of the line… Brett Favre. Brett says…
So what would ESPN do at that point? I mean… LeBron James is big news, but I think the station looks at Brett Favre as the biggest possible source of news in the sporting universe. Of course that won’t happen. But it’s kinda funny to think about!
Fantasy football is something I do, admittedly, half-heartidly every year. But, it’s a big part of the lives of a lot of football fans, so I thought I’d share with you guys what a few of my favorite Vikings players have to say about fantasy football for this upcoming year.
Right now, the off-season news going around is boring. There are no big free agents to really be even hopeful for. OTAs can only be so interesting to read about before you feel like you’re reading the same info over and over and over. To be honest, it’s hard to find interesting Vikings topics to write about. So… we’ll make our own. Here’s a tough question for you to answer: Could you ever root against the Vikings against a rival? So yeah, you’re probably saying “That’s not a tough question.” But let me throw in something else… what if you had a brother, or a son, or a best friend who played for the Bears or the Packers? What if this brother/son/best friend played for the Bears or the Packers, and they were going to meet the Vikings in the playoffs? What if this brother/son/best friend was nearing the end of his career, and this might be his last shot at ever going to the Super Bowl? Could you root for the Vikings to lose an important game against a rival team? I’m looking forward to seeing your answers!
We all saw Brett Favre’s Super Bowl commercial where he won the league MVP after 29 seasons and at the age of 50. I stumbled across some outtakes of that video on Youtube and thought you guys might like it.
Brett is a funny guy.
I stumbled across this video today and thought that you guys might like it, especially with the NFL draft around the corner. The 40 Yard Dash gets talked about a lot. When we talk about the NFL draft, we throw around times that are usually between 4 and 5 seconds when we’re talking about the prospects, but what does that really mean? How fast is it really. This video will demonstrate things a little better.
That’s pretty amazing. Some of those guys look unbelievably fast when compared to the “average” person.
Brett Favre was in a Super Bowl Commercial during tonight’s game. It showed him winning the 2020 MVP after 29 seasons at age 50. It was pretty funny. Here’s a YouTube video of it:
Does this mean we can expect Brett back next year?
Nothing much going on for Vikings fans these days, so I thought I’d post something a little fun. Speaking of fun, here’s Brett Favre having some fun.
Visanthe Shiancoe posted this on his Twitter account. I thought it was pretty funny:
For those of you who might not have seen it, this was done by a fan because of what happened after the Cowboys game last Sunday. Here’s a video:

Then he posted a couple pictures. Here they are….

I have to say… my Vikings girls are a little bit hotter. Thanks to Visanthe Shanicoe for sharing this on twitter! Happy Halloween! If that’s not scary, I don’t know what is. |
