Brett Favre was in a Super Bowl Commercial during tonight’s game. It showed him winning the 2020 MVP after 29 seasons at age 50. It was pretty funny. Here’s a YouTube video of it:
Does this mean we can expect Brett back next year?

Nothing much going on for Vikings fans these days, so I thought I’d post something a little fun. Speaking of fun, here’s Brett Favre having some fun.
From Visanthe Shiancoe’s twitter:
Then he posted a couple pictures. Here they are….
(You can click on the pictures for a slightly larger view)
I have to say… my Vikings girls are a little bit hotter. Thanks to Visanthe Shanicoe for sharing this on twitter! Happy Halloween! If that’s not scary, I don’t know what is.
Brett Favre should’ve won the Nobel Peace Prize over President ObamaThe country world is abuzz today about the news of President Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize. Some people are proud to say that the President of the United States has won such an honor, while others question what he has done to earn it. I say that they picked the wrong guy. Obviously, Brett Favre should’ve won the award. Deep down, Brett Favre wanted to retire after the end of last year. He felt that he had already proven everything there was to prove in the world of football. Some of my “unnamed sources” even claim that he had thought about taking up another sport, like baseball for example, to prove that he could dominate there as well.
Meanwhile in Minnesota, things weren’t going well for Brett’s old friend Brad Childress. Despite the fact that Childress’ Vikings had improved from 6-10 in his first year coaching, to 8-8 in his second year, to 10-6 in his third year, and despite the fact that the Vikings were coming off of a division championship, the Minnesota fan base had no confidence in their coach, and constantly claimed that he was on his way out. Even though Childress had upgraded practically every position on the football field except for quarterback since taking over, the fans felt that he was doomed. There was a growing rift in Minnesota. A “chism”, if you will. Fans wanted to love their Vikings, but wanted to hate their coach. People were confused. Hysteria and chaos were breaking out wherever talks of the Vikings emerged. Fans were turning their hatred away from evil things such as the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, and turning that hatred toward their coach, and toward fellow fans that did not insult Childress in the correct manner. Minnesota needed a hero. They needed a beacon of light. They needed Brett Favre. Favre decided to put aside his own desires. Even though many felt it was too late, he would come back. Even though Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels were already battling for the top spot, he would come back. Even though he had missed out on the first meaningless preseason game, he would come back. Even though he missed out of all of training camp, which is really what every NFL player looks forward to the most during the year, he would come back. Yes, Brett Favre was that selfless hero that the Vikings so desperately needed. So that, my friends…. THAT is the reason that Brett Favre should’ve won the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s true that many think that 4 weeks into the season might be too early to award Favre with such an honor, since it’s still left to be seen where he can really lead the team. But to that I say HOGWASH. That’s right. Hogwash.
Brett Favre is the hero in Minnesota, and he has brought a hope of change, and a hope of peace to Vikings fans everywhere. Now, just because there’s a new guy in charge on the field of play, Vikings fans can know that things are going to be okay.
Brett Favre Sears Commercials – OuttakesI think these commercials are great. Here is a collection of outtakes from the filming of them.
A reader named John asked if I could provide downloads for the songs that are in my weekly videos. From now on I’ll start putting a link to the download on the post for the video itself (and I’ll go back and edit each of those posts so that the videos that are already up have a download link), but I thought I’d give you guys the 5 songs for the videos that have already been posted in this one post. Week 1 – The Vikings Rock I took a poll on ESPN.com today, asking who I thought would win between the Packers and the Vikings tonight. I viewed the map after I voted. This is what I saw…
Well, at least the hometown fans are sticking with their team! I hope the rest of the country is right, though. GOOD LUCK, VIKINGS FANS!
I posted this on the Content Quake site a while back, but I really like the video, and since Favre’s actually on the team, it almost changes the way I watch it. Maybe this is what was going through Childress’s mind last Monday when he called Brett… Anyway, this is just for entertainment purposes! SKOL VIKINGS! |
