Finally, the regular season is upon us. No more games that don’t count. No more games half-filled with players that will rarely see playing time. For the next 5-6 months, it’s all FOR REAL.
I have been looking forward to football season for so long. Honestly, it seems like the Super Bowl was about 17 years ago!
I have some good stuff I’ve been working on for you guys for quite a while. You’ll see the beginning of it tomorrow! I’m really looking forward to seeing if you guys like what I’ve done.
I have a very good feeling about the Vikings this year. I feel like there really isn’t any position on the field with a glaring weakness. I also think the first several games of the season should be almost shoe-ins (although I know there is no such thing in the NFL), and if the Vikings can get off to a 4-1 start, or better yet, a 5-0 start, I think they’ll be sitting good for the rest of the year.
Sometime this week we’ll take a look at the schedule. Really there are only about 3 games that worry me outside of the division, and then I think we’ll end up splitting with Chicago and Green Bay… I’ll give my official prediction when we take a real look at the schedule, but I really don’t think an 11-5 season is too overly optimistic. I think it’s very possible.
