Minnesota Vikings LINKS 03 Links: Some Stats and Facts about the Vikings

Hey Vikings Fans

I found a couple posts on other Vikings blogs that I wanted to bring to your attention today.

The first one is from Daily Norseman.  It’s entitled “Statistically Speaking, Vikings Look Solid“.  The writer brings out where the Vikings sit in certain statistical comparisons with other players and teams in the league.  Numbers and statistics fascinate me, so this post caught my attention right away.  Here is a little snippet from the post:

The second article is from The Viking Age.  It’s called “10 Points: Vikings-Rams“   This writer talks about 10 different topics that he noticed while watching the game this past weekend.   Even though each point came about from watching the game, some of the things he talks about deal more with the season as a whole.  It’s another interesting read.  Here’s a snippet from that article.

Naufahu Tahi had 37 yards on 16 receptions in 2008.  In 2009 he has 40 yards on 3 receptions, 32 of those yards coming on one play Sunday.  And it wasn’t even Brett Favre throwing him the ball, it was his old buddy Tarvaris Jackson.  You knew one of those dump-offs into the flat was going to break big one of these days.
