I came across a cool article on Vikings War Cry yesterday that goes through some of the similarities between the Vikings 15-1 season in 1998 to this season.

The 1998 Vikings were quarterbacked most of the year by 35 year-old Randall Cunningham, who one year prior, was coaxed out of retirement by former Viking head coach, Dennis Green. Stunningly, Cunningham enjoyed the best season of his career despite having had a border line hall of fame career for a previous franchise that wears green, the Philadelphia Eagles. The 2009 Vikings are being quarterbacked by 40 year-old Brett Favre, who was coaxed out of retirement by current Viking coach, Brad Childress. Stunningly, Favre is enjoying the best season of his career despite having had a future hall of fame career for a previous franchise that wears green, the Green Bay Packers.
